Description

This position offers the opportunity to work closely with the Production Department, assisting in the coordination and execution of various theatrical productions, including THE BUDDY HOLLY STORY, HELLO, DOLLY!, and the Broadway in the Park fundraiser. The intern will also engage with production teams, cast, and crew, helping to implement production schedules and supporting the technical and logistical needs of each show. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for theatrical production. This internship will require approximately 20 hours per week from June through September.
 

Qualifications

Required Qualifications for the Production Intern:  Organizational Skills: Ability to manage production schedules, track progress, and handle logistics.  Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication to interact with teams, cast, and crew.  Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.  Interest in Theatre Production: Demonstrated passion for theatre production, including technical theatre and stage management.  Preferred Qualifications:  Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding of lighting, sound, and set design.  Project Management: Experience in managing or assisting with projects.  Production Software: Proficiency with software like Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, or theatre-specific tools.  Problem-Solving: Ability to think quickly and solve issues during performances.  Availability: Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings/weekends.  Driver’s License: Valid license and reliable transportation.
