AGCC is a medium-sized, community-based interdisciplinary arts center in San Pedro. We provide free and affordable access to the arts in the largely low-to-moderate income working-class communities of San Pedro and the Los Angeles Harbor Region. AGCC offers a year-round schedule of gallery exhibitions of contemporary art, featuring the work of both local and national artists. In addition, the Center provides professional work-studio space for 52 artists, including musicians, ceramists, painters, sculptors, writers, photographers, printmakers and jewelers. Finally, AGCC offers ongoing arts education programming on-site at the Center through our Community Class program, in local schools through Artists-in-Classrooms, and throughout the Los Angeles Harbor community in various free public workshops.
